Warwickshire is a beautiful and historic state situated in the centre of England, which makes it a fantastic base from which to explore all that is best about our lovely country. It's a really easy place for foreign visitors to reach - just a 30 minute journey from Birmingham International Airport and 90 minutes by car, bus or train from London Heathrow Airport.

 

You may not have heard of Warwickshire before, but you will almost certainly have heard of its most famous son; world renowned playwright William Shakespeare, whose birthplace is the Warwickshire town of Stratford-upon-Avon. The region is also famous for its abundance of museums and historic houses and the two well-preserved fortifications of Warwick Castle and Kenilworth Castle, all of which are open to the public and collectively give a fascinating insight into centuries of English history.
